A new Norwegian architect studio creating functional, comfortable and simplistic architecture in Oslo and Vadsø. Hallstein Guthu, born in 1979, grew up in Vadsø in the very north-east of Norway. After finishing architecture studies at NTNU in Trondheim in 2005, Hallstein moved to Vienna, Austria, to work at Coop Himmelb(l)au. Between 2007 and 2012 Hallstein worked at Foster+Partners in London, before returning to Oslo, Norway, to work with MMW architects in 2012. HALLSTEIN was founded in Oslo 18th July 2016.
